RE: ZMA-89-15 Charlottesville Land C~mpany
Dear Sir:
The Albemarle County Planning Commission, at its meeting on
October 3, 1989, unanimously recommended approval of the
above-noted petition to the Board of Supervisors. Please
note that this approval is subject to the applicant's
proffers as follows: _

1. Access for Parcel 55A1 across the parent tract to
utilize the Westminister Canterbury access road;
2. Development access from Rt. 250 will be by way of the
Westminister Canterbury access road;
3. Detailed plans and specifications for exterior design,
site plan, access, landscaping and setbacks for this
development will be submitted to Westminister
Canterbury for review. The applicant's intention is to
provide Westminister Canterbury with architectural
review of the project land to provide a development
which complements the Westminister Canterbury project;
4. No construction or improvements to this property will
exceed elevation 580;
5. The developer intends to stair-step the townhouse units
according to grade;

6. With regard to landscaping and fencing buffer for the
development of this property, the Applicant proffers to
be in general compliance with the preliminary plan of
Jefferson Point Townhouses, as submitted on the drawing
dated 3 October, 1989; .
7. The applicant proffers a 30' setback from the Rt. 250
right-of-way and adj acent properties. .' _
Please be advised that the Albemarle County Board of
Supervisors will review this petition and receive public
comment at their meeting on October 18, 1989. Any new or
additional information regarding your appli~~tion must be
submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at least
seven days prior to your scheduled hearing date.
