In connection with that, please see the email forwarded below from Dennis Seale at VDOT approving the entrance to our property for its intended use accessing our Lodge event building. This also provides approval of the entrance for accessing our proposed tasting room. This is the proposed building for which you had the building permit and which Tom Sullivan responded via email answering your questions. Just to reiterate, the Lodge is an existing event building separate from the proposed tasting room which has yet to be constructed. Please email and confirm receipt if the attached. I presume this is what you need from VDOT but if you are looking for something further please let us know. I have included Dennis Seale on this email as well. Thank you Rebecca! The sight distance is 1,000 feet in both directions and the entrance has been improved by placement of surface mix asphalt and 35' radii on both sides of entrance along with the width to accommodate two vehicles passing in and out if needed. If you should have any concerns or questions please let me know. The entrance would be safe for continued use as is with no additional improvements being needed.
