Dear Mr. Grigg:
The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, at its meeting on July 8, 1998, approved the above-noted request to allow
outdoor storage and display for auto sales on 1.35 acres. Please note that this approval is subject to the following
conditions:
I. Use shall not commence until a Certificate of Appropriateness is issued by the Architectural Review Board.
2. Vehicles shall be displayed only in areas shown on the approved site plan.
3. Vehicles shall not be elevated.
Tn the event that the use, structure or activity for which this special use permit is issued shall not be commenced within
eighteen (18) months after the issuance of sllch permit, the same shall be deemed abandoned and the authority gnmted
thereunder shall thereupon terminate. For purposes of this section, the term "commenced" shall be constmed to include
the commenccment of constmction of any structure neccssary to the use of such permit within two (2) years from the
date of the issuance thereof which is Ùlercafter completed within one (I) year.
Before beginning this use, you must obtain a zoning clearance from the Zoning Department. Before the Zoning
Department will issue a clearance, YOII must comply with the conditions in this letter. For further infonnation, please
