To Whom It May Concern:
We are a scientific and technical consulting firm with 10 employees located at our 1725
Discovery Drive, Suite 100, Charlottesville, VA 22911 location. Primary activities at this
location include standard professional and scientific consultant obligations, delivery of
technical training and symposia, and warehousing activities.
The parcel is zoned Type 1. We have prepared this Letter of Performance Standards in
conjunction with our zoning clearance application in order to address the standards outlined
in Zoning Ordinance Section 18-4.14.
We have addressed the standards referenced in Section 4.14 and provide the following
responses to demonstrate our compliance:
Noise
Our operation does not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values
specified in Section 4.14.1.
Vibration
Equipment operated within our facilities does not produce any detectable earthborn
vibration.
Glare
Our operation is completely contained within the building. The interior lighting associated
with this operation does not produce glare that is visible beyond the lot line.
Air Pollution
There are no emissions of smoke, odor, or gaseous pollutants.
Water Pollution
Our operation does not represent a hazard to water quality.
Radioactivity
Our operation does not require handling of radioactive materials.

Our operation does not require any equipment that would generate electrical disturbances
or that would adversely affect the operation of equipment on any other lot of premises.
