JT will try and get to the review sometime today; however, after a quick look over of the plat he anticipates some minor
changes (formatting, missing notations). He says that he has worked with your surveyor(Kurt) on many prior projects,
and will contact him and discuss the changes. I will keep you informed with the process.

Hugh,
Unfortunately Frank is trying to go away from that practice as the County has had projects not fulfill requirements in the
past when granted grading permits without the required documents completed.
The bond estimate is our approximation for the costs of the project (grading/E&S/Stormwater controls). If your
engineering/construction contractor has a better estimate for the costs, we can take that into consideration and adjust
the estimate.

Ana sent the bond number yesterday and it was WAY higher than I expected and I'm trying to figure out why now but we'll in
any event get that resolved ASAP. In the meantime,she indicated that she's out of the office today and tomorrow.
When we spoke in person we discussed the possibility of getting the permit issued and back-filling with the remaining
paperwork/bond. Is that possible or has that request been denied?

I wanted to give you an update to where we are in the process.
The bond estimate has been calculated and sent to Ana,that bond now needs to be posted.The easement plat has been
reviewed by me and is acceptable as submitted; however,JT Newberry in planning still needs to approve it prior to it
going to the CAO for review and signature (I will talk to him today about looking at it, it should be a quick review for
him).The SWM agreement has been recorded.
The next steps are:
1) Posting of bonds
2) JT approval and COA signature for deed and plat, followed by your, and your wife's, signature and final record of
the deed and plat.
3) Pre-construction meeting.The Grading permit and DEQ VSMP permit will be secured at this time.
We are trying to get this through as quick as possible.Thank you for your patience in this process.

Mr. Shytle,
I apologize for my mistake, but as a VSMP submittal the $250 bond request fee must be included. I had assumed
(incorrectly) that because there were not any major structural stormwater BMPs related to the project the bond could
be processed as a VESCP submittal only. However, because of how we track VSMP projects, and due to the forest and
open space area used for stormwater quality credit,the bond needs to be processed as a VSMP bond.
Again I apologize for any inconvenience. I will have the Bond Estimate ready early next week for the next steps.

I suggest you submit a Request to establish a bond application (attached), sometime in the next week. I will calculate the
E&S bond amount and have it ready to go for when you do so.
Note: the only bonds needed will be a VESCP bond, which carries no fee.
