Nelson, Senior Planner Division: Planning Services Date: January 9, 2018 Subject: SUB201700195 — Murphy, Boundary Line Adjustment Fax 434-972-4126 The County of Albemarle Division of Planning Services will grant or recommend approval of the Boundary Line Adjustment plat referenced above once the following comments have been addressed. [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.] 1. Sect. 14-302 (A) (2): Vicinity Map: The vicinity map on the plat is too small to show the location of parcels involved with this proposal. Revise the plat to show a vicinity map at a scale of 1" = 2,000' showing the property and its relationship to existing streets. The map should show the rough outline of the parcels. 2. Sect. 14-302 (A) (10): Right of Further Division: Revise Note 8 on the plat to read, "Each parcel contains 1 development right and may not be further divided." 3. Sect. 14-302 (B) (1): General Information: Revise to indicate drawing is Sheet 1 of 1. 4. Section 14-302 (B) (7): Reservoir Watershed; Agricultural -Forestal District: Revise the plat to indicate the parcel is located in the Ivy Creek Watershed. 5. Section 14-303 (C) Boundary Lines, Section 14-303 (D) Acreage of Lots: • Revise the plat to more clearly delineate existing boundary lines being vacated (removed) with this proposal. The dotted line used disappears on part of the plat. Use the "Z" hook line to show where existing parcels are being combined. • Revise the plat by adding the table below showing existing and proposed acreages for each parcel.
