We will be using argon welding gas for welding. We do not have any employees. We are zoned commercial in the Charlottesville/ Albemarle area. We have addressed the performance standards with the Albemarle Zoning Ordinances. Noise: Our operation will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values specified in section 4.14.1. We are in a commercial area. We are surrounded by a Tire Repair store and an 2 auto Repair Stores. Our main sources of noise will be grinding metal welds and cutting metal stock. Vibration: We will not be using anything that would cause vibration. Glare: Our operation is completely contained within the building. The glare from welding will not cause glare that is visible beyond the lot line. Air Pollution: No air pollution will be produced. Appropriate venting is in place. Water Pollution: No liquid waste will be generated by this operation. Our operation does not represent hazard to water quality. Radioactivity: Our operation does not require handling of radioactive materials. There will be no radioactive emissions. Electrical Interference: Our operation does not require any equipment that would generate electrical disturbances.
