THE SITE CONSISTS OF TWO DRAINAGE AREAS, ONE TO THE SOUTH AND ONE TO THE WEST. CURRENTLY
BOTH AREAS ENTER A MANMADE STORMSYSTEM THAT DISCHARGES INTO AN EXISTING CREEK
NORTHWEST OF THE SITE, THIS WILL BE MAINTAINED IN THE POST CONDITION. HOWEVER, TWO
UNDERGROUND STORAGE SYSTEMS ARE BEING INSTALLED TO CONTROL THE ADDITIONAL FLOW DUE TO
THE INCREASE IN IMPERVIOUS AREA IN THE PROPOSED CONDITION. THE POST DEVELOPED 2 YEAR AND 10
YEAR FLOWS ARE BEING REDUCED TO BE EQUAL OR LESS THAN THE CURRENT 2 YEAR AND 10 YEAR
FLOWS. THE DRAINAGE AREA OF THE EXISTING CREEK UPSTREAM OF THIS PROJECT IS 768 ACRES,
THEREFORE THE PROJECT AREA IS LESS THAN 1% OF THE CONTRIBUTING DRAINAGE AREA. THEREFORE
CHANNEL AND FLOOD PROTECTION ARE ADEQUATE
