Hi Margaret,
I've forwarded your message along with the comments below to my customer at Everbrite. They will revise the backer
panel to a black rectangle and add the necessary information. Hopefully I will have a revised drawing for you tomorrow.
Thanks!

Beth,
I've reviewed the file that contains the information on the CSP for this shopping center. The BB&T sign that is illustrated
below is the design that prompted the ARB's approval of channel letters on a backer panel. In this case, the panel has a
consistent rectangular size and shape. Can the Dollar General sign be constructed this way?

Hi Margaret,
2
The "border" is actually the backer panel that the customer added to comply with the CSP. Please advice how I should
direct my customer to proceed. Once I hear back I will forward your notes below.
Thanks!

Beth,
A question on the Dollar General sign design: Are the heavy borders on the letters necessary?
Also, please add the following standard information to the drawing.
1. A note(s) indicating the sign materials
2. A note indicating that the channel letters are LED internally illuminated (assuming that's correct)
3. A note indicating that the backer panel is not illuminated
4. Notes/details indicating how the sign is mounted to the building
5. The standard LED illumination note: The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will not
exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp (ma) neon.
Thanks.
Margaret

Hi Margaret,
No problem! I think maybe we are not providing revised drawings in the correct way. Stewart has been handling the
majority of our permit applications and in his opinion all revised drawings should be submitted to Zoning and eventually
make its way through the appropriate channels. But according to Emily White and Melissa Symmes that may not be the
most efficient path. Perhaps we should revert back to emailing the revised art to the appropriate planner? Just let me
know what you would prefer and I'll make it happen on this end.
Thanks!

Hi, Beth.
I didn't realize there was a revised design. I see now that a revised drawing was provided to Zoning, but I hadn't received
revisions for the wall sign in response to the ARB comment letter. Now that I've got it, I'll review it and get back to you
soon — hopefully, tomorrow. Could you provide the revised drawing in an email?
Thanks.
