I'll communicate with Heather and Margaret to get an updated sense of where things are headed, per your recent conversation with Heather. As a quick reminder, I'll need to take action on the Initial Site Plan relatively soon (as we only have a total of 60 days to "take action" — i.e. either approve with conditions, or deny — and the SRC meeting last Thursday was day 45). The only other option in this situation would be for the applicant to request for a deferral, which freezes the 60-day review period and allows for much more time (up to six months) to work on possible revisions to the site layout and other details. Regardless, I will follow up with you if I have any questions or information to share, after I connect with our ARB planners. And I'll stay posted for any updates from your end. (And I apologize for the error in the SRC memo that incorrectly specified Room 235.) I'm writing to provide you with a copy of the "action memo" from the 2/12 ARB meeting (attached), which contains the ARB review comments. The Wawa review is item d. (beginning on page 4). Per our discussion during the SRC meeting, it sounds like there may be some decision -making to do regarding next steps, including the possibility of requesting a deferral of the Initial Site Plan review to allow more time to address the issues identified by the ARB. And it also sounds like you intend to coordinate further with ARB staff with regards to scheduling a return to the ARB; to that end, I've copied Margaret Maliszewski and Heather McMahon on this message in case that helps to expedite your coordination. In the meantime, we will be working to synchronize and clarify the two different sets of review comments (Planning and ARB) that pertain to the landscaping requirements for this project at this location.
