The following review comments are provided in response to these revised, resubmitted plans, and as an update to the information contained in the previously -provided conditional approval letter (dated 01/24/2018). Final County approval of this major site plan amendment is subject to the following review comments being satisfactorily addressed, and subject to approval by all applicable members of the Site Review Committee (SRC). (Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to Albemarle County Code Chapter 18 / Zoning Ordinance.) Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further review. Please work directly with each SRC plan reviewer to address and resolve their review comments (as may be applicable). Tentative approvals from each SRC plan reviewer should be forwarded to the CDD Planner upon receipt. When all SRC plan reviewers have provided tentative approvals, please submit four (4) copies of the Major Site Plan Amendment to CDD for approval signatures. [Chapter 18, Section 32.6.2(k)]: Please identify location(s) and type(s) of proposed exterior (outdoor) lighting. Sheets C2.0, C2.1, and C4.0 appear to show three (3) existing overhead light poles to remain in place and to be reused to illuminate the existing parking lot. However, those sheets do not indicate whether a fourth existing light pole slated for removal in the rear (southern) portion of the parking lot is to be reused, and do not indicate if a new outdoor lighting feature is proposed to illuminate this area. Additionally, the plans do not indicate if any wall -mounted exterior lights are to be included on the proposed building addition (or not). Please address by identifying the location(s) and type(s) of all proposed new and reused outdoor lighting features, and by providing a corresponding photograph, diagram, or spec sheet for each proposed new outdoor lighting feature. (It is not necessary to provide a photograph, diagram, or spec sheet for existing outdoor lighting features that are to be reused.) Update 3/13/2018: Addressed. Previous SRC information from conditional approval letter (dated 1/24/2018): Satisfactorily address and resolve previous Planning Division review comments pertaining to outdoor lighting, including all proposed outdoor lighting in the project area (as shown on the plans dated 12/4/2017), and all proposed outdoor lighting in all other areas of the subject property as discussed during the Site Review Committee meeting on 1/18/2018 (such as the existing "front parking lot" near Rockfish Gap Turnpike / US 250 and the associated "path from the school to the parking lot"). Please see attached review comment letter dated 111712018. Update 3/13/2018: Addressed. Requested lighting information provided on Sheets C2.1, C4.0, E2.2, and E2.3, and on supplemental materials (spec sheets from Dominion Energy and Lithonia Lighting, and photographs showing locations of existing wall -mounted outdoor lights). Staff acknowledge the applicants' clarification/confirmation of requested details regarding the proposed reuse of existing outdoor light poles and light fixtures. Staff acknowledge the applicants' decision to not include proposed outdoor lighting (or other improvements) to the front parking lot and associated path. 2. Ensure all required information for all proposed project areas is included on all pertinent plan sheets (or add new plan sheets as may be applicable), as discussed during the Site Review Committee meeting on 1/18/2018. This must include all required information for any additional areas of the subject property that are not currently shown on the plans, but which are subject to proposed improvement(s) or modification(s), such as the existing "front parking lot" near Rockfish Gap Turnpike / US 250 and the associated "path from the school to the parking lot." Please note that the inclusion of additional project areas) closer to Rockfish Gap Turnpike / US 250, a County -designated Entrance Corridor, will require additional review by Architectural Review Board (ARB) staff. [C4.0] Curbing on southern parking lot indicated to be CG-2, however, gutter is shown indicating curbing is actually CG-6. Please clarify. 3. [C4.0] Indicate edge of pavement or curbing for Alternative #3 section. 4. [C5.0] Provide stormsewer schedule identifying type, length, and diameter of stormsewer pipes/structures. 5. [C5.0] Provide stormsewer calculations (Pipe capacity, inlet calcs, HGL, etc.). Include existing stormsewer in calculations. 6. [C5.0] Provide detail/sizing and calculations for shallow swales. 7.
