Subject: Review Comment Letter — SUB201800042 — Springhill / Towneplace Suites
(Easement Plat dated 2/21/2018)
The easement plat referred to above (dated February 21, 2018) has been reviewed by Albemarle County's
Community Development Department (CDD), and by other members of the Site Review Committee (SRC),
as applicable.
The Planning Division of CDD will approve the above -referenced easement plat after the outstanding issues
identified in this letter have been addressed and resolved to the satisfaction of the lead reviewer and each
SRC plan reviewer, as applicable. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based
on further review.
Please work directly with each SRC plan reviewer to address and resolve their review comments, and
obtain their tentative approvals, as may be applicable. Approvals from each applicable SRC plan reviewer
should be forwarded to the lead planner at CDD upon receipt. After tentative approvals have been
obtained from each applicable SRC plan reviewer, please submit to CDD signature copies of the easement
plat for County approval.

Per a phone conversation with Mr. Dustin Greene, PE, on 3/19/2018, it is recommended that all existing and
proposed easements shown on the corresponding final site plan (SDP201700042) are included on this easement
plat. This includes the "proposed 24' interparcel access easement" that is required to be provided by special use
permit conditions of approval, and which is currently shown on the final site plan; and this also includes any
additional access easement(s) for the future development parcel that you may wish to include at your discretion
(not required).
2. The "New 25' Private Stormwater Management Easement" is shown with a width of 25' along Lines SME8 and
SME6, but is shown with a width of 21.27' along Line SME7. Please advise if the width of SME7 is correct; if
so, it is recommended that you consider modifying label to "New Variable Width Private Stormwater
Management Easement" or similar.
