We understand that a private residential entrance on Route 721 will be required,which is acceptable. However, should the entrance become a commercial entrance (further subdivided, more residences) stopping sight distance and/or intersection sight distance will be required, as well as all other applicable Access Management Regulations. A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way.The owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use Section at(434)422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
