Andrew,
Please see responses in blue:
From the SPCA’s experience, what hours/days/events/uses have typically caused the SPCA to experience peak
demand for parking?
o My guess is that this peak usually comes during events like training classes or birthday parties, which
from my research on the website represent more of a public outreach use during evenings/weekends.
Saturdays 9am‐4pm, Sundays 11am‐6pm, weekdays 3pm‐6pm.
o What are the typical days/hours of operation for the veterinary clinic?
The public generally use our parking for clinic purposes Monday‐Friday 8:15am‐9:30am
& 4:30pm‐6pm, plus 1‐2 Sundays a month 12pm‐4pm
What is the current typical number of employees and/or volunteers on a given day at the SPCA? Is any increase
in staffing expected as a result of the expansion, and if so, how many employees/volunteers?
o Staffing can be as many as 55 with 20 additional volunteers (75 total) – see below for answer to the
2nd part of the question
Does the SPCA anticipate that the expansions will increase demand or frequency of visits, e.g. from people
looking to adopt or people who are fostering animals and bringing them in for check‐ups?
o The proposed expansion is meant to support existing operations, but continued growth of visitors is
always anticipated.
Thanks
‐Cody
