ALL EXCAVATION FOR UNDERGROUND PIPE INSTALLATION MUST COMPLY WITH OSHA STANDARDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY (29 CFR PART 1926). 10. THE OWNER AND/OR CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ALL NECESSARY PERMITS, INSPECTIONS, BONDS AND OTHER APPROVAL RELATED ITEMS WITH THE COUNTY OF ALBEMARLE AND THE V.D.O.T. IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL AND STATE POLICY. NO CONSTRUCTION SHALL COMMENCE UNTIL ALL SUCH PERMITS HAVE BEEN SECURED. 11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE PROPOSED LAYOUT WITH ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE EXISTING SITE SURVEY.
