Thanks for checking in with me on the subject. I’ve reviewed their stated water use on the application, considered the
approved groundwater assessment done for this application, and performed my own analysis of water usage for this
particular250 seat church on 4.1 acres of land. Additionally, I can add that during this review period I acted as the
County Engineer and supervised engineering staff who would have evaluated water usage, noting no concerns were
raised about water usage during this period.
Based on all of this, and acting as the Site Plan Agent, I am confident this church will not have water use that is equal or
greater to 400 gallons/day/acre. As such, I am directing you that no Special Use Permit for water usage in excess of 400
gallons/day/acre is required for this site plan. Please note this determination should not be extended to any other use
of property nor any increase in the number of seats with this church nor any modifications to the use that would
necessitate higher water usage (e.g. day care, schools or camps, community events). Any proposed change to this use
should be evaluated for water usage as part of the review process.
