Comments/Attachments:
The approved site plan for Town and Country Shopping Center has been amended to eliminate the 1 hour fire wall
assembly by shifting the building to the east to provide a set back of 12.5'or greater. The building shift effects only the side
yard, all other set backs remain the same. The building shift required slight reorientation to the existing loading zone and
nearby landscaping and twa,bollards were added.to protect the existing retaining wall. No changes were made to the E&S
plan and all stormwater drainage remains as approved. (NOTE: The applicant considered draining some SW out the
entrance at Guadelara, but decided not to proceed). No changes were made to the lighting plan. (Note: The applicant
considered relocating two parking lot fixtures to the building but decided not to proceed). Shifting the building also allowed
for extending the sidewalk connection to Richmond Road to the front of the building along the western elevation and adding
an additional patio at the northwest corner. (This also became possible by master metering the existing water meter on site
and eliminating the individual meters shown on the approved utility plan which has been approved by Alex at the Albemarle
County Service Authority and will be documented at the Utility Pre Con Mtg. The approved site plan finish floor elevation
has been raised 2'due to actual site conditions. A parking lot island yeas added for esthetics and more effective parking lot
SW sheet flow, but not affecting approved SW desing calculations.

This major amendment as submitted contains all of the information required by Section 32.5(Initial Site Plan)and Section 32.6(Final
Site Plan)of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. I understand that plans which lack information required by said sections shall be
deemed incomplete and shall be denied by the agent within ten(10)days of submittal as provided in Section 32.4.2.1 or Section 32.4.3.1
as the case may be.
Minor Amendment
This minor amendment as submitted contains all of the information required by Section 32.5(Initial Site Plan)and Section 32.6(Final
Site Plan)of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance.
