Subject: SUB -2018-109 Property of Michael Napier - Boundary Line Adjustment
The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the
Boundary Line Adjustment referenced above once the following comments have been
addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the
Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14-302 (A)] Right of further division of proposed lots. Include a statement as to
whether the lots affected by the Boundary Line Adjustment (TMP 87-26A and
TMP 87-26B) may or may not be further divided. Each lot should have its own
statement: "Lot X may/may not be further divided." Also include a statement as to
whether any development rights of these lots are affected by this Boundary Line
Adjustment.
2. [14-302 (B)] Flood plain. The plat must show "the location of any part of the
property within the flood hazard overlay district." Lot TMP 87-26A is affected by
the 100 Year Flood Plain Overlay, according to the County's GIS website.
3. [14-303 (D)] Acreage of lots. The total acreage for each lot needs to be
consistent throughout the plat. In the Area Tabulations section, Revised TMP 87-
26B is listed as having 15.000 acres, while Revised TMP 87-26A is listed has
having 15.500 acres, with a total of 31.000 acres. On the plat, both lots are listed
as having 15.500 acres.
