Perez, Senior Planner Division: Planning Date: July 18, 2018 Subject: SDP201800013 Briarwood Phase 1A-1 Minor Amendment The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Site Plan Amendment referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.] 1. [ZMA2004-14] Lot Mix. Revise the lot mix chart to omit an asterix (*) for phase 8, as nothing is taking place in phase 8 on this amendment. 2. [Comment] Amend the parking calculations chart on the cover sheet to only cover parking for the townhomes associated with this amendment (lots 1-22 and IA), omit all other parking calculation modification listed in the chart. 3. [Comment] Label and dimension all garages on the site plan. Label and dimension all driveways on the site plan. 4. [Comment] Revise the title of the minor amendment to reference the site plan this amendment is amending: SDP2006-41. Also reference phase I in the title. 5. [Comment] Label the material used to construct the tot lot trail as asphalt. 6. [Comment] Provide fencing around the entire tot lot. Label height and material of fencing along with gate locations on the plan. Staff has provided references to the County Code. The Code is kept up-to-date by the County Attorney's office and may be found at www.albemarle.org/countycode. In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B) of Chapter 14, if the applicant fails to submit a revised plat to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of this letter, then the application shall be deemed voluntarily withdrawn.
