Not bothering me at all. Ok — ACSA and Engineering approved their parts. I looked over it. There was a couple of small
things that I missed in my previous comments, but I'm not going to make you redo anything at this point. It's nothing
that affects what you're doing, so we'll just initial it in ourselves. I will approve the plan with needed signatures.
The only issue I'm working on is the number of plans.' need 4 copies. One is with ACSA. Engineering has the other one,
leaving me with 2. I'm trying to get the others back for signature. Is there any way you can drop off 2 more copies? If you
can get them in today, I'll get them signed this afternoon.
Otherwise, I'll try to get at least one plan back and maybe try to scan one. Note: I need 4 copies, because: I keep one in
the file, you get one and inspections gets 2.

I delivered the engineering transmittal by hand and asked that they speed up the review, since it's been sitting in my
office. They said they would have review done next week.

ACSA Comments:
I have reviewed the above referenced plat. The ACSA will require a profile view of the sewer main located in the gravel
area to show existing and proposed cover. Also note that the security fence will be located within an ACSA easement. In
order to permit this an encroachment letter will be required prior to approval. This will note that portions of the fence
will be located within the easement and will confirm that the ACSA has the right to remove the fence to access the
sewer main without any responsibility for replacement. A note shall be added that the fence post will be placed in such a
way that the sewer main is in the center of 2 posts. The applicant can contact me directly to discuss further.
Engineering Comments:
Note that any stockpile areas used during construction will count as disturbed area during construction. Ensure
stockpiles, if needed, are located inside the indicated limits of disturbance, or are located on current impervious areas
outside limits of disturbance. Since this project is very close to the 10,000 sq ft threshold, this is an important factor.
Planning:
For the D.B. reference, you included D.B. 3968 p. 556. The 1998 Site Pian references D.B. 1224 p. 39. Please
include all applicable deed book references on the latest plat.
The 1998 Site Plan includes a landscaping plan. The proposed gravel area would eliminate several plantings from

I had to send this site plan to the Albemarle County Sewer Authority, as the gravel area is on the sewer easement. Also,
I'm having someone in our engineering division conduct a brief review, to see if they have any comments about the
cleared area.
I am still reviewing the plan, but had two preliminary comments.
- For the D.B. reference, you included D.B. 3968 p. 556. The 1998 Site Plan references D.B. 1224 p. 39. Please
include all applicable deed book references on the latest plat.
The 1998 Site Plan includes a landscaping plan. The proposed gravel area would eliminate several plantings

PLANNING COMMENT: The 1998 Site Plan Includes a landscaping plan. The proposed gravel area would eliminate
several plantings from that plan. Describe how you would account for this change. Will those plantings be moved to a
different location?
RESPONSE: The 1998 landscaping plan shows no trees to the right of the sanitary sewer line. The current condition has
several matured trees beyond the sanitary sewer. Would relocating the 9 trees on the plan still be required when
considering the amount of additional trees already on site? In other words, this change has technically already been
accounted for.

ACSA Comments:
I have reviewed the above referenced plat. The ACSA will require a profile view of the sewer main
located in the gravel area to show existing and proposed cover.Also note that the security fence will be
located within an ACSA easement. In order to permit this an encroachment letter will be required prior to
approval. This will note that portions of the fence will be located within the easement and will confirm
that the ACSA has the right to remove the fence to access the sewer main without any responsibility for
replacement.A note shall be added that the fence post will be placed in such a way that the sewer main
is in the center of 2 posts. The applicant can contact me directly to discuss further.
• Profile added. Encroachment letter included with submittal. Notes added.
Engineering Comments:
Note that any stockpile areas used during construction will count as disturbed area during
construction. Ensure stockpiles, if needed, are located inside the indicated limits of disturbance, or are
located on current impervious areas outside limits of disturbance. Since this project is very close to the
10,000 sq ft threshold, this is an important factor.
