Development Pad
Project Overview
Pantops Corner is situated on property that stretches
from Route 250 to Route 20 in the Pantops area of
Albemarle County. The site is between the Goodwill
building and Malloy Ford. The project consists of a 5
story hotel, a commercial building (Building A), and
a future development pad. The following images
pertain to Building A of Pantops Corner.
Building A is adjacent to the Goodwill building along
Route 250 and will be accessed by a new right -in/
right -out entrance, Pantops Corner Way. A second
entrance to Pantops Corner Way is provided along
Route 20. The building floor elevation will match
that of the Goodwill building to provide future
connection from building to building and also
through their parking lots.
Building A is highlighted by its grand tower which
contains an entrance from Route 250. The building
is clad in lap siding, board & batten siding, brick,
and block. Vegetated screens are used to soften
facades. Due to the topography of the site, parking
and entrances to the commercial spaces are along
the north side of the building. Outdoor patio areas
are provided on the north and south side of Building
A adjacent to the Goodwill store. The landscape
plan indicates street trees around Building A along
Route 250 and Pantops Corner Way as well as other
plantings along the building's perimeter.
