Dear Mr. Newberry:
The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced as submitted by, Dominion Engineering dated
September 1, 2017, and find it to be generally acceptable.
A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process. If further information is
desired, please contact Willis C. Bedsaul at 434-422-9866.

This review was completed using the sections listed under Section 14-207 of the Subdivision Ordinance.

I. [Section 14-302(A)(3)] Please revise the name of Meeting Street to Berkmar Drive. Please also correct the
spelling of"Connor'trive." Revised.
t?• [Section 14-302(A)(4)and/or(A)(5)] Please add the name of the owner of record for the existing easements
shown. Owners names added. See also note 15.
[Section 14-302(B)(5)] Please add ZMA201300004 to Note 7. Added.
[Section 14-302(B)(8)/p. 24 of Code of Development] Please note this area is subject to a build-to line of 0-10
feet from the edge of sidewalk. Added note.

Staff has provided references to the County Code. The Code is kept up-to-date by the County Attorney's office and may
be found at www.albemarle.org/countycode.
In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B)of Chapter 14, if the subdivider fails to submit a revised plat to address
all of the requirements within six(6)months after the date of this letter,then the application shall be deemed voluntarily
withdrawn.
