1. Revise 2' line of Plan title (Minor Site Plan Amendment) to read VSMP Plan /WP0201800032.
2. Final print submittal (for approval): Ensure original signature PE -seal. Date. Delete ref. `For Review.'
3. General Note 3: Delete reference to DEQ VSMP, E&S and land disturbance permits; permit review is in
process (approaching approval). However, strongly recommend provide note that assigns Contractor
responsibility for compliance with permit requirements and any applicable environmental requirements,
whether listed in E&S plan, grading permit, Approved VSMP plan, or not. Also, provide Note stating
Owner (Albemarle County) will delegate SWPPP responsibilities to Contractor.
4. L1 —E&S Narrative, Note 1: Please list total land disturbance as approx. 19,000 square feet (0.4362 Ac.) —
these values are acceptable to Engineering. No need to recalculate this approximation. Add sentence:
"LPDA understands these values are acceptable to Albemarle County."
5. L1 —E&S Narrative, Notes 7, 8: Revise references to LXX to read L2.
6. L2 —E&S Installation Sequence, Note 1: Delete 2nd sentence. Approved VSMP Plan will serve as guide.
7. L2 —E&S Installation Sequence, Note 2: Recommend revise note to read `shall flag all vegetation to be
removed,' rather than `to remain.' More vegetation will remain than is removed.
L4
8. Label contours (provide terrain elevation labels).
9. Label maximum parking space grade: Not to exceed 5% in any direction (Ref. Code 18-4.12.15.c.). Also,
see item 14, below.
10. Label width of eleven (11) proposed perpendicular parking spaces: 9' Min. width at edge of 20' travelway.
11. Provide bumper blocks for perpendicular parking, especially the three proposed compact parking spaces.
12. While boulders protect Ex. FH from vehicle approach from 20' travelway, strongly recommend bollard
between Ex. FH and nearest parking space.
13. Recommend 6"-8" DIA pipe beneath 6' asphalt trail where trail exits /enters woods at soccer field. Water
may pool disproportionately or natural outfalls may be blocked to either side of the low point if upslope or
soccer field runoff cannot pass (above or) below the 6' trail at this point.
14. Ensure via note or labels that storm runoff from proposed perpendicular and parallel parking spaces is
south, or southeast, and is neither concentrated nor collected by any device other than existing concrete
swale. Make no deliberate attempt via grading to route runoff from these parking spaces into the Ex.
concrete swale.
15. At immediate edge of paved perpendicular parking spaces, provide gravel diaphragm similar to illustration
listed at VA DEQ Stormwater Design Specification No. 2, Fig 2. 5 (pg. 8); link:

16. Provide detail for gravel diaphragm; recommend Fig. 2.5 (VA DEQ Spec. 2).
17. L5: Profile and demolition details suggest waste material export. Please review E&S Control Narrative
Note 4, sheet L1. Revise Note 4, as necessary.
18. L8: Recommend remove this sheet from the plan set (DA C, D, E: No effect; undefined).
19. L9: Include Note below Site Results tabular data, left-hand side of sheet, that states that Albemarle County
intends to purchase 0.17 lb./yr. credits from an eligible nutrient credit bank to meet water quality standards.
20. L9: Recommend Water Quantity Note that reads: "This project meets criteria at 9VAC25-870-66.D.: "If all
runoff from the site is sheet flow and the conditions of this subsection are met, no further water quantity
controls are required." "
21. Provide SWPPP —please use county template /Additional comments possible, once receive SWPPP.
