To Whom it May Concern:
This Certified Engineering Report is being provided on behalf of the School Board
of Albemarle County.
The parcel is zoned Industrial (L-1). It is my understanding that in order for the
County of Albemarle to occupy this space we will need to submit this Letter of
Performance Standards along with our zoning clearance application.
We have addressed the standards referenced in Section 4.14 and provided the
following responses:
Noise
The operation will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values
specified in Section 4.14.1. The space is on the interior of the building with the
majority of the exterior walls being concrete block. No tools or machinery of any
kind will be generating loud noise.
Vibration
There will be no activities generating vibrations.
Glare
All operations are completely contained within the building. The interior lighting
associated with this operation does not produce glare that is visible beyond the
lot line.

Air Pollution
There will be no emission of smoke, odor or gaseous pollutants.
Water Pollution
No industrial liquid wastes will be generated by this operation.
Radioactivity
There is no equipment or operation that will generate any radioactivity.
Electrical Interference
The operation does not require any equipment that would generate electrical
disturbances that would adversely affect the operation of equipment on any other
lot or premises.
