Your LOR application has been reviewed. In order for the amended site plan to be approved the following revisions
are required:
1. 132.6.2(k) & 4.171 Lighting. In the plan provide a cut sheet with luminaire schedule for each proposed light
fixture. Also, provide the location of the outdoor lighting fixtures.
2. [Comment] Revise the title of the plan: "SDPI981-5 Beech Tree Plaza — LOR I ".
3. [Comment] ARB approval is required prior to LOR approval. See attached comments.

1. Parking spaces and access isles shall not have a surface slope greater than 1:48. Access isles shall be at the
same level as the parking space they serve.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The Code is kept
up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's website which may be
found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org.
In accord with the provisions of Section 32.4.3.5 of Chapter 18 of the Code if the developer fails to submit a revised
final site plan to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of this letter the application shall
be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer. If you have any questions about the comments

I have reviewed the plan dated 8/6/2018, submitted for the above -referenced application. I have the
following comments:
l . Include the following note on the site plan: Visibility of all mechanical equipment from the
Entrance Corridor shall be eliminated.
2. Include the following note on the site plan: All site plantings of trees and shrubs shall be allowed
to reach, and be maintained at, mature height; the topping of trees is prohibited. Shrubs and
trees shall be pruned minimally and only to support the overall health of the plant.
3. Provide in the plan set details on the new lighting. Include the cut sheets for the new fixtures.
Indicate lamp type, fixture color, and total lumens emitted by the fixtures. Provide a photometric
diagram.
4. Final approval of ARB-2018-95 is required prior to final approval of the Letter of Revision.
Following are the ARB conditions of approval:
a. Provide material and color samples for review.
b. Indicate the locations of mechanical equipment and show how visibility will be eliminated
from the EC street.
c. Provide details on all new lighting for review.
d. Confirm that all landscaping shown on the approved site plan is present on site. If trees or
shrubs are missing, they will need to be replaced, or proposed revisions will need to be
included in a site plan amendment.
e. A site plan amendment (Letter of Revision) is required for all changes proposed to site
elements, including but not limited to lighting, landscaping, sidewalks, ramps, etc.
f. Include the standard plant health note on the site plan: `All site plantings of trees and shrubs
shall be allowed to reach, and be maintained at, mature height; the topping of trees is
prohibited. Shrubs and trees shall be pruned minimally and only to support the overall
health of the plant. "
