The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Boundary Line Adjustment
referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is followed by the
applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
- Vicinity Map: Include a scale to the vicinity map —1:2000. (§14-302(A)]
- Existing Streets: Reference the width of Rte. 53. [§14-302(A)]
- Private Easements: Provide the deed book and page number for the private street. [§14-302(A)]
- Building Sites: Indicate why there are multiple building sites shown on both properties. Also, confirm
that these building sites do not overlay with the existing Steep Slopes. [§14-302(A)]
- Right of Further Division: The division note references parcel B, but that is not labeled on the plan.
Instead, you could indicate that this boundary line adjustment will not influence division rights. (§14-
302(A)]
- Instruments: Include the deed book number for both properties. [§14-302(A)]
- Owners: Provide the addresses of the existing property owners. [§14-302(A)]
- Zoning Classification: These properties are within the Entrance Corridor zoning overlay. Please
reference in the zoning note. [§14-302(8)]
- Identify Owner Address: Provide addresses of each owner of record and holders of any easements
affecting the property. [§14-302(A)15]
