Dear Ms. Saternye:
The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section has reviewed the Caliber Collision- Final Site Plan, dated July 16, 2018 as submitted by
Freeland and Kauffman, Inc., and offer the following comment
Land use
1. Match pavement section of Avon St. to the right of way line can be accomplished with a
note on plans.
2. Please provide inlet calculations for the curb inlet on Avon St. Please include spread
calculations 4"/hr. rainfall event.
Upon submission of the appropriate signed and sealed approval copies this office will perform a
final review and, if acceptable, sign the plans. Please allow for this office to obtain two signature
copies.
A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the VDOT Charlottesville Residency Land Use Section at (434)
422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
