Reviews Comments:I have reviewed the above referenced plat. The ACSA will require a profile view of the sewer main
located in the gravel area to show existing and proposed cover. Also note that the security fence will
be located within an ACSA easement. In order to permit this an encroachment letter will be required
prior to approval. This will note that portions of the fence will be located within the easement and will
confirm that the ACSA has the right to remove the fence to access the sewer main without any
responsibility for replacement. A note shall be added that the fence post will be placed in such a way
that the sewer main is in the center of 2 posts. The applicant can contact me directly to discuss
further.

Reviews Comments:Note that any stockpile areas used during construction will count as disturbed area during
construction. Ensure stockpiles, if needed, are located inside the indicated limits of disturbance, or
are located on current impervious areas outside limits of distrubance. Since this project is very close
to the 10,000 sq ft threshold, this is an important factor.

Re: Encroaching into the Authority's Water Easement at 4010 Hunterstand Ct.
ACSA:
respectfully request permission to construct a fence that will encroach upon your easement.
The proposed additional fencing to be installed to create a secure storage yard will be a standard chain
link fence 6' tall, 137' long with two sides, one attaching to building (91' long) and one to current fence
(84' long) according to the VOOT specifications attached. There will be access for ACSA through a
gate. A sketch of the installation is also attached.
This work is on Tax Map 032 Parcel 19139 at 4010 Hunterstand Court, Charlottesville, Virginia
22901. In exchange for this permission I relieve the Albemarle County Service Authority from any re-
sponsibility for repairing or replacing this fence should it be damaged by the Authority's forces during
maintenance of the public utility.
I understand that the Authority's easement prohibiting my placement of any items within the
easement area, except as set out herein, remains in full force and effect.
I also agree to reimburse the Service Authority for any cost incurred if the Authority finds it
necessary, for whatever reason, to remove the items listed here within the easement area.
This document contains the final and entire agreement between the parties hereto. The use
and responsibilities defined in this agreement shall endure with successors and assigns. Failure of the
current owner to notify successive owners of the obligations agreed to in this document shall not relieve
successive owner from holding harmless the Albemarle County Service Authority for the conditions
contained herein. Should successive owners object to these conditions, they shall promptly remove
any and all structures placed within said easement. Failure to remove said obstruction shall constitute
agreement with the terms herein.

Mr. Robinson,
I heard back from engineering and ACSA on this Site Plan.

Engineering Comments:
Note that any stockpile areas used during construction will count as disturbed area during construction.

current impervious areas outside limits of disturbance. Since this project is very close to the 10,000 sq ft

Planning:
• For the D.B. reference, you included D.B. 3968 p. 556. The 1998 Site Plan references D.B. 1224 p.
39. Please include all applicable deed book references on the latest plat.
• The 1998 Site Plan includes a landscaping plan. The proposed gravel area would eliminate
several plantings from that plan. Describe how you would account for this change. Will those
plantings be moved to a different location?
Let me know if you have any questions,
Will
