Water Quality Water quality requirements will be addressed by buying offsite nutrient credits. The CN value changes from 85 to 91 from predevelopment to post-development requiring 2.16 lb/yr of Phosphorous removal. The credits will be purchased through the Virginia Nonpoint Source Nutrient Credit Registry in the same or adjacent Hydrologic Unit Code(HUC)as our project. The purchase of credits will be a requirement for final VSMP approval. Channel Protection The VSMP channel protection requirements have been met by adequately channeling the post- developed 2yr and 10yr storms to stormwater management ID facility#79.02 at pre-developed levels. Channel Protection Flood Control Channel protection requirements are being met by using the criteria of B-1(a)where we are conveying, the postdeveloped peak flow rate from the 2yr 24-hour storm event below predeveloped levels to a manmade stormwater conveyance system without causing erosion. Flood protection requirements are being met by using the criteria of C-1 where we are conveying the postdeveloped peak flow rate from the 10yr 24-hour storm event below predeveloped levels to a manmade stormwater conveyance system. The discharge area,while not experience localized flooding, does release stormwater into a stormwater conveyance system that,following land-disturbing activity, confines the postdeveloped peak flow rate from the 10yr 24-hour storm event within the stormwater conveyance system.
