An adjourned meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County,
Virginia, was held on August 14, 1995, at 5:00 p.m., Room 435, County office
Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia. This meeting was ad-
journed from August 9, 1995.
Present: Mr. David P. Bowerman, Mrs. Charlotte Humphris, Messrs.
Charles S. Martin, Walter F. Perkins and Mrs. Sally H. Thomas.
Absent: Forrest R. Marshall, Jr.
Officers Present: Deputy County Executive, Mr. Richard E. Huff and
County Attorney, Mr. Larry W. Davis.
Agenda Item No. 1. The meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m., in
Room 241, by the Chairman, Mr. Perkins.
Agenda Item No. 2. Executive Session: Legal Matters. Motion was
offered by Mr. Bowerman, seconded by Mrs. Humphris, to move into Executive
Session pursuant to Section 2.1-344(A) of the Code of Virginia under subsec-
tion (7) to consult with legal counsel and staff regarding specific legal
matters concerning reversion.
Roll was called and the motion carried by the following recorded vote:

Mr. Bowerman, Mrs. Humphris, Messrs. Martin, Perkins and Mrs. Thomas.
None.

(Note: Mr. Davis commented that the Board would reconvene in open
session in Room 435 to certify.)
Agenda Item No. 3. Certify Executive Session. Motion was offered by
Mr. Bowerman, seconded by Mrs. Humphris to certify the Executive Session by
recorded vote that to the best of each board member's knowledge, only public
business matters lawfully exempted from the open meeting requirements of the
Virginia Freedom of Information Act and identified in the motion authorizing
the Executive Session were heard, discussed or considered in the following
Executive Session.
Roll was called and the motion carried by the following recorded vote:
AYES: Mr. Bowerman, Mrs. Humphris, Mr. Perkins and Mrs. Thomas.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Mr. Marshall. (Note: Mr. Martin left the meeting at 6:30 p.m.)
Agenda Item No. 4. Adjourn. The Board meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.,
to Wednesday, August 16, 1995, at 7:00 p.m.
