Guiding Principles for This Project:
Safe drinking water is a key community asset and any water system
improvement needs to strongly support our community’s health
Improvements need to be grounded in the best science for delivering quality
outcomes
The final improvements need to consistently meet federal and state mandates
for drinking water
Financial resources dedicated to safe drinking water should be used prudently
and with clarity on rate impacts
Our Urban water system is one water system – one community, seeking
equitable quality drinking water
