An adjourned meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County,
Virginia, was held on November 17, 1988, at 3:00 P.M., Meeting Rooms 5/6, County
Office Building, McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia. This meeting was
adjourned from November 16, 1988.
BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Messrs. Edward H. Bain, Jr., F. R. Bowie, Mrs.
Patricia H. Cooke, Messrs. C. Timothy Lindstrom, Walter F. Perkins and Peter T.
Way.
BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: None,
SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Messrs. Charles Armstrong, William W.
Finley, Clifford W. Haury, Charles S. Martin and Charles R. Tolbert and Mrs.
Sharon Wood. Also present was Mr. N. Andrew Overstreet, Superintendent of
Schools.
SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Forrest Marshall, Jr.
OFFICERS PRESENT: County Executive, Guy B. Agnor, Jr., and Director of
Personnel, Carole A. Hastings.
Agenda Item No. 1. Call to Order. The meeting was called to order at 3:16
P.M., by the Chairman, Mr. Way.
Agenda Item No. 2. Joint Meeting With School Board. Executive Session:
Personnel. Motion was offered by Mr. Bowie, seconded by Mr. Perkins, to adjourn
into Executive Session for discussion of personnel matters. Roll was called and
the motion carried by the following recorded vote:
AYES: Mr. Bain, Mr. Bowie, Mrs. Cooke, MessrS. Lindstrom, Perkins and Way.
NAYS: None.
The Board reconvened into open session at 5:00 P.M.
Agenda Item No. 3. Adjourn to November 28, 1988. There being no further
business to come before the Board, motion was~Offered by Mr. Lindstrom, seconded
by Mr. Bowie, to adjourn to November 28, 19881:at 8:00 A.M. Roll was called and
the motion carried by the following recorded *ote:
