A special called meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County,
Virginia, was held on January 26, 1988, at 3:30 P.M., Meeting Room 11, County
Office Building, McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia. This meeting was
called by Mr. Peter T. Way and Mrs. Patricia H. Cooke for the purpose of
meeting in executive session to discuss personnel matters. The Board members
were notified by letter dated January 21, 1988.
PRESENT: Messrs. Edward H. Bain, Jr. (arrived at 3:32 P.M.) and F. R.
Bowie, Mrs. Patricia H. Cooke (arrived at 3:32 P.M.), Messrs. C. Timothy
Lindstrom (arrived at 3:35 P.M.), Walter F. Perkins (arrived at 3:32 P.M.) and
Peter T. Way.
ABSENT: None.
OFFICERS PRESENT: County Executive, Guy B. Agnor, Jr., and County
Attorney, George R. St. John.
Agenda Item No. 1. The meeting was called to order at 3:35 P.M. by the
Chairman, Mr. Way.
Agenda Item No. 2. Executive Session - Personnel. Motion was offered by
Mr. Perkins and seconded by Mr. Bain to move into executive session to discuss
personnel matters. There was no further discussion. Roll was called and the
motion carried by the following recorded vote:
AYES: Messrs. Bain and Bowie, Mrs. Cooke, Messrs. Lindstrom, Perkins and Way.
NAYS: None.
Agenda Item No. 3. Adjournment. The BOard emerged from executive
session at 6:45 P.M. and immediately adjourned.
