April 20, 1978, beginning at 4:00 P.M. in the Board Room of the County Office Building, .....
Charlottesville, Virginia; said meeting being adjourned from April 19, 1978.
Present: Messrs. Lindsay G. Dorrier, Jr., Gerald E. Fisher, J. T. Henley, Jr., F. Anthony
Iachetta, C. Timothy Lindstrom and W. S. Roudabush.
Absent: None.
Officers Present:
Attorney.
County Executive, Guy B. Agnor, Jr. and George R. St. John, County
The meeting was called to order at 4:02 P.M. Mr. Fisher immediately requested an executiv
session with members of the Albemarle County Service Authority and Executive Director to discus
legal and personnel matters. Motion to this effect was offered by Dr. Iachetta, seconded by Mr
Roudabush, and carried by the following recorded vote:

None.
The Board reconvened at 5:22 P.M.
Dr. Iachetta explained a Highway Safety Project Grant for vehicles and equipment for the
Western Albemarle Rescue Squ&dtotalling $57,000 with $28,500 from the grant and $28,500 from a
fund drive. No County funds will be involved~ The County will hold title to the property
and lease same to the Rescue Squ~d.
Dr. Iachetta then moved to approve submittal~of a grant application with authorization
for the County Executive to~sign. The motion was seconded by~'Mr. Lindstrom and carried by
the vote which follows:

Mr. Lindstrom moved the appointment of Mr. Robert Humphris.~ to the Albemarle County Servict
Authority Board of Directors for a four-year term expiring on April 16, 1982; said term to repl~
Mr. Myron Tremain. The motion was seconded by Dr. Iachetta and carried by the following
recorded vote:

Claims against the County for the month of April, 1978, which had been examined and
certified by the Director of Finance, were presented:
