1973-05-315-31-73 Pursuant to the following notice, which was hand delivered on May 29, 1973, the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia, met' in special session at 7:30 P.M. on May 31, 1973 in the City Conference Room, City Hall, Charlottesville, Virginia with the following members: PRESENT: Messrs. Stuart F. Carwile, Gerald E. Fisher, J.T. Henley, Jr., William C. Thacker, Jr., and Lloyd F. Wood, Jr. ABSENT: Mr. Gordon L. Wheeler. OFFICERS PRESENT: County Executive and County Attorney. "There will be a special meeting of the Bokrd of Supervisors of Albemarle County at 7:30 P.M., Thursday, May 31, 1973, at the City Conference Room, City Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to hear statements to be made by the Attorneys for George A. Cason in re the current need for a landfill by the City of Charlottesville and the County of Albemarle, and to discuss this entire problem fully, with the City Council of the City of Charlottesville." Mr. Thacker called the meeting to order and entertained a motion to adjourn into executive session. Motion was offered by Mr. Henley, seconded by Mr. Fisher and carried by the following recorded vote: AYES: Messrs. Carwile, Fisher, Henley, Thacker and Wood. · NAYS: None. The Board reconvened.
