An adjourned meeting of the Board of County Supervisors of
Albemarle County, Virginia, was held at 5:00 P.M. on this date in the
County Office Building, said meeting being adjourned from~April 12, 1972.
PRESENT: Messrs. Stuart F. Carwile, Gerald E. Fisher, Jk T. Henley, Jr.,
William C. Thacker, Jr., Gordon L. Wheeler and Lloyd F. Wood, Jr.
ABSENT: None.
OFFICERS PRESENT: County Executive and County Attorney.
On request of the.Chairman, motion was made to go into executive
session to discuss the proposed merger of County and City water and sewer
facilities, motion being made by Mr. Henley, seconded by Mr. Thacker, and
adopted by the following recorded vote:
AYES: Messrs. Carwile, Fisher, Henley, Thacker, Wheeler and Wood.
NAYS: None.
The Board ~econvened at 6:45 P.M.
Claims against the County amounting to $1,205,003.63 were presented,
examined and allowed, and certified to the Director of Finance for payment and
charged a~inst the following funds~
