A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia,
was held on March 1~, 1973 at 7:30 P~.M~ in the Board Room of the County Office
Building. (Notice of this change of meeting place was posted on the front door
of the Albemarle County Courthouse).
~esent: Messrs. Stuart F. Carwile, Gerald Eo Fisher, J. T. Henley, Jr.,
William C. Thacker, Jr.~ GordOn L. Wheeler and Lloyd F. Wood, Jr.
Absent: None.
Officers present: County Executive.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
Motion was offered by Mr. Fisher, seconded by Mr. Carwile to change the meeting
date ferhearing the City's petition for a landfill site on Route 29 South to April
1973~ at 9:30 P.M. at Red Hill School. Motioncarried by the following recorded vote:
AYES: Messrs. Carwile~ Fisher, Henley~ Thacker~ Wheeler and Wood.
NAYS: None.
At this time~ the Board held a public work session on the proposed 1973-7~ budget,
excluding all school items.
Upon proper motion~ the meeting was adjourned.
