Purs~nt to the following waiver~ members of the Board of Co~ty Supervisors of Albemarle
Co~ty, Virginia, met in special session on this date in the Co~ty Office B~lding, Ch~lottesville,
Virginia, at 9:00 A.N. with the following present: Nessrse Edgar No Garnett, Edward L. Smith, ~. Y.
Sutherland, Jr. and Robert Thraves. Absent: Nessrs. Jo~ W. Willies, and E~&shby Harris~
We, the un~rsi~, members of the Board of Co~ty Supervisors of Albemarle Oo~ty',
Virg~ia, do hereby waive notice ~d special service thereof, of a meeting to be
held ~ 9:'00 A.N. on the first day of December, 1959, in the Cowry Office Building,
Charlottesville, Virginia, for the purpose of considering matters pertaining to the
Crozet Sanitary District, and we do hereby consent to any ~d ~l. business ~d the
t~ing of such action at said meeting upon the matters herein~ov~ mentioned as may
be la~ ~cident and necessary thereto~ ~

Mr. Edwa~ Daughtrey appeared and presented to the Board the following report of the Crozet
Water Co~ittee dated November 30, 1959:
"O~ Co~ittee has a~tempt~d to obtain Easements for the eight inch pipe line to be
constructed from the fresh water basin to "Knobloch'.s Corner".
We have ~d excellent cooperation from Mr. H. N. Bowen and Mr. HarwSchultz. The
other property o~ers are not cooperative. It is our opinion a~ wish that condem-
nation proceedings be instit~ed so that this construction will not be held up."

it was stated that the two property o~ers who had not given easement over their property were
Annie O. Gentry and Jessie Gibson. After due discussion of the~tter, motion was offered by Mr.
Thraves, seconded ~Mr. Sutherland, a~ ~uanimously adopted, that the Chairman appoi~ a co~ittee to
contact the property owners involved to determine if compromise mi~t be made without resorting to con-
demnation. The Chairman~.,appo~ted such a co~ittee to consist of the following: Nr. Ed~ Garnett,
Chairman, ~r. Jo~McNair, engineer, and one member of t~ Crozet Water Co~ittee to be selected by Nr.
Garnett. This co~ittee was instructed to report back to the Board as soon as possible.
On motion, the meeting adjourned.
