An adjourned meeting of the February 23rd meeting was held at lO:O0 A.No on this date in the
County Office Building, Charlottesville, Virginia, with the following members present: Nessrs. John W.
Williams, Edgar N. Garnett, George C. Palmer, II~ N~ Y. Sutherland, Jr., and Robert Thraves. Absent:
~. H, Ashby Harris.
~ficers present: County Executive and Commonwealth's Attorney.
The C.hairman stated that $393,860.00 was transferred on first reading from the General Revenue
Fmud to the School Capital Outlay Fund to proceed with school construction, said resolutionhaving been
offered on February 23, 196~, by Mr. Harris, seconded by Nro Thraves, and asked for roll call vote on
same for second reading. The clerk proceeded to take roll call vote as follows: Ayes: Messrs. John
W. Williams, Edgar N. Garnett~ George C. P~mer, II, N~ Y. Sutherland, Jr. and Robert Thraves. Noes:
None. {Mr. H. Ashby Harris absent).
The Chairman then advised t~t ~30,000..00 was also a~propriated on first reading for the
purchase of land for the Beaver Creek Dam project, motion having been made by Mr. Garnett and seconded
by Nr. Thraves~ A roll call vote on this appropriation was taken as follows: Ayes: Nessrs. Williams,
None. (Mr. Harris absent~.
