July 27, 1954 The adjourned meeting of July 21, 1954, to be held on this date, was not held due to the fact t~at the Water Committee could not attend, said meeting having been adjourned until this date especially for a meeting with the Committee. August 4, 1954 Pursuant to the following waiver, the members of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia, met in special session on this date at 7:30 P.M. in the County Office Building, with the following members present: Messrs. C. Purcell McCue, E. H. Bain, Edward Lo Smith, H. Ashby Harris, John W. Williams and W. W. Wood. We, the undersigned, members of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia, hereby waive notice, and special service thereof, of a meeting to be held on the fourth day of August, 1954, at 7:30 P.M., in the County Office Building, Charlottesville, Virginia, for the purpose of considering matters pertaining to the Crozet Sanitzry District, petition to include Rougemont Avenue in the Secondary System of Highways, resolution regarding sidewalk on RoUte 240 at Crozet, and Airport Ordinance, and we do hereby consent to the transaction of any and all business and the taking of such action at said meeting upon the matters hereinabove mentioned as may be lawful, incident and necessary thereto. Perkins, and Dabney W. Sandridge. Mr. Apperson advised the Boardthat the water supply in Crozet was a little better than it was at thi as much wa should be time last year although the springs, with the exception of L.eech's Spring, are not supplying er as they were last year. He stated that there are leaks in the collection basin which .epaired. ~r. Daughtryadvised that the supply of water is not sufficient to supply commercial users &nd domestic u~ers and estimated that there was now a thirty-day supply of water in the reservoir. He further stated that the people of the Sanitary District could not stand any more tax or any higher water rates.
