Pursuant to the following waiver, the members of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle
County, Virginia, met in special session on this date at 7:30 P.M. in the City Hall, Charlottesville,
Virginia, jointly with the City Council, with the following members present: Messrs. E. H. Bain, H.
Ashby Harris, Edward L. Smith, John W. Williams, and W. W. Wood. Absent: Mr. C. Purcell McGu~.
Ne, the undersigned, members of the Boar6 of County Supervisors of Albemarle County,
Virginia, hereby waive notice and special service thereof, of a meeting to be held on
the twenty-second day of September, 195&, at 7:30 P.M., in the City Hall, Charlottes-
ville, Virginia, for the purpose of considering th~ appointment of a Joint Airport
Commission, and we do hereby consent to the transaction of any and all business and
the taking of such action at said meeting upon the matter hereinabove mentioned as may
be lawful, incident, and nece-~sary thereto.

Councilmen present: Messrs. Davis, Forbes, Hill, ~ichie and Weinberg.
Mr. Weinberg, Chairman of the Joint Conm~ittee appointed by the two governing bodies, presented
the following names for consideration as members for the Joint Airport Commission: Mr. Llewellyn P.
Haden, Mr. Eichard F. Holladay and Mr. Nor~al B. Eader.
Mr. ~illiam~ Hill moved that the nominees recommended by the Joint Committee be appointed to
serve the following terms: '~Lr. Haden, one year; Mr. Holladay, two years, and Mr. Eader, three years.
This motion was seconded by ~r. E. H. Bail and U~]animously carried.
On Motion, duly made and seconded, the meeting adjourned.
