Legislature to assist in securing the passage of a bill to approve the action of the Boards of Supervisors in Virginia in employing attorneys to collect taxes and Payt~hem a percentage of the amount collected, even though no suit wa~ instituted. The Board feels that it was necessary to employ attorneys to collect these .taxes in Albemarle and other counties; that it was highly desirable to collect as many taxes as possible without the institution of suits and to institute'suits only where absolutely necessary. The attorneys where they. are successful in collecting without suit should undoubledly be paid reasonable compensation. Upon motion, the meeting adjourned. Chairman
