The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
It appearing to the Board tlmt it will be necessary to borrow some money with
which to pay County ~xpenses between now mhd the collection of_1925 ataxes.
It is therefore ordered that the Treasurer of the County be, and he is hereby
authorized in the hams and on behalf of the County of Albemarle to make arrange-
merits with some bank or banks for them to advance the necessary amount, not to
exceed Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars ~ud to execute such obligation or
obligations in the~ame, and on behalf of said County as may be necessary to
secure such advancement or advancements, and also by such obligation or obligations
and pledge 1925 taxes for same.
G.'Stuart Hmrmm, Tresau~er, presented to the Board a statement together
with all warrants paid by him during the month of ~t2arch 1925. The ~oard examined
the warrants ordered the s~atement to be filed.

On motion of W.H.Langhorne and seconded by C.Purcell EcCue it
is ordered that Seth Burnley and J.m.~Abell go to Ricbm~ond mn: May 26th 1925 to
attend a meeting of the Highway Con~nission in regard to securing aid on the Garth
Road.
On motion of W.H.Lan~horne and seconded by P.H. Gentry it is order
that the Motor Vehicle 0ffioer make a report to the Board'every meeting giving a
statement of all arrest etc. for the month.
.0n motion duly second it is ordered that Seth Burnley and J.
~ason Sn~ith 'be appointed a committee to~ formulate regulations for the Traffic'
OfFicer and report to the Board,
On Motion of C.A.Mi!ler amd seconded by J.E.Abell it is ordered
that the Oounty build a bridge across Tompkins' creek upon condition that the
Scottsvill. e District pay interest on the money borrowed to build said bridge for
a period of not exceeding three years.

0n motion of J,E. Abell and- seconded by P.H. Ge~try it is ordered
that the County will repay back to ~hite Hall District the sum of ~300..00 for the
building of a bridge across Buck Mountain Creek by the White Hall District.
On motion duly seconded it is ordered that ~'~,H.~anghorne, Supervi
of Scottsville District, be permitted to sign a note for a tractor for said
District.
