THEREFORE on motion of ~r. J.A,O'Neill and seconded by.~r. E.J,Ballard
and by a unanimous vote of the board ~r. ~.~.Haden was appointed County Executive
for Albemarle ¢ounty~ Virginia~ beginning January 1st. l@~B4, at a salary of ~4EO0.O0
'per annum.
Dr. ~cQuade, County Health ~ffice, habeing Been requested by Dr. W.F.Draper,
State Health Commissioner, to take over his duties for a short period, appeared
before the board and asked permission to comply with Dr. Draper~s request,
Therefore on motion O~ C.Purcell NcCue and seconded by~E.$-.Ballard it is
unanimoUsly ordered that a leave be granted..Dr~. McQua~e to assume the duties request~
by the State Health Gommissioner.
Resolved that the Board of Supervisors, the County School Board concurring,
request the State Board of Ed~a~tion to suspend the payment of the principal on
bonds amounting to Eight Thousand ($8,000.00) Dollars due the Literary Fund for
one year.

Eesolved that Nr. A.L.Bennett, Supt. of Schools, make application for funds
from the C.W.A. to build schools at Earlysville, Stony Point, Fry Springs and
Belmont, and
BE IT FUEI~tER RESOLVED that the Count~ School be permitted ~e borrow from
the Literary Fund and amount not to exceed Thirty Five ihousa~d ($35,00~.00) Dollars.
