An adjourned meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia, was held on
March 26, 1997, at 4:00 p.m., at Glenmore Country Club, Route 250 East, Charlottesville, Virginia. The
meeting was adjourned from March 24, 1997.
PRESENT: Ms. Charlotte Y. Humphris and Ms. Sally H. Thomas.
ABSENT: Mr. David P. Bowerman, Mr. Forrest R. Marshall, .Ir., Mr. Charles S. Martin and Mr.
Walter F. Perkins.
OFFICERS PRESENT: County Executive, Robert W. Tucker, Jr.
Dr. Deborah DiCroce, President, Piedmont Virginia Community College welcomed everyone to the
meeting. She stated that for the past seven years, the PVCC Board has taken its March meetings into the
College's jurisdictional area. This year the area is Albemarle County.
Also present were members from PVCC Board of Directors and the Albemarle County School
Board. Dr. Kevin Castner, Superintendent of Schools, and Dr. DiCroce highlighted the collaboration and
partnership that exist between PVCC, the County of Albemarle and the school system.
Following the presentation, a reception and dinner was held. The meeting was then immediately
adjourned.
