A regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle County,
Virginia, was held on January 17, 1996, at 7:00 P.M., Room 241, County office
Building, McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
The only Board member present was Mr. David P. Bowerman. Also present
were Mr. Richard E. Huff, II, Deputy County Executive, and Mr. Larry W. Davis,
County Attorney.
Notices had been sent to the news media the prior week that this meeting
would be canceled due to inclement weather. No one from the media or public
were present.
Mr. Bowerman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
At 7:03 p.m., Mr. Bowerman adjourned the meeting to January 18, 1996, at
9:00 a.m., for the purpose of holding a meeting to ratify the declaration of a
local emergency for the snowstorm that began January 7, 1996.
